Damn, am I glad you guys can see the comic now.  It’s been a crazy month since I came up with the idea for this webcomic and tricked Charlie into agreeing to write scripts for me to illustrate. Only a handful of people knew what we were up to, so it’s nice to have the cat out of the bag, and in this dude’s apartment terrorizing him.  I want to say right off that you can expect this first comic to be the roughest.  This was adapted by me from a short story Charlie wrote a while back (you can read it here), so it wasn’t from a comic script.  Also, you can expect my art skill to improve steadily the more comics we do.  My sketches have already gotten better, but I had to try and keep the style of the main character constant between the first and last page.

Remember, there will only be about one comic per month, so be sure to add the site to your RSS feedTwitter, and/or FaceBook to keep up to date on when comics drop!  I hope you keep coming back, telling your friends, and enjoying some Awesome Adventures with us!

Charlie says:
This is really awesome for a number of reasons. Mainly because I got to see Andy take a “short short” of mine and turn it into something better than it originally was. I originally wrote this piece in about an hour following one of my writing classes. It was intended to be nothing more than a humorous diversion from a more serious story I was writing. While I’ve imagined several stories as potential comics, this one wasn’t one of them. Nonetheless, I think it works better with Andy’s art than it did on its own. As Andy said, things will only get more awesome from here on out. Future scripts will actually be written with the comics format in mind, and we’ll both get more comfortable with the 3-5 page story format. Stay tuned!
