I’m going to keep it short this time, like the comic. I sat down to think of some sort of meta-type Christmas comic we could do for the site and this was the first thing I came up with. I wanted it to be short so that I wouldn’t get behind with the holiday coming up and I’d have enough time to color it. I hope you like the colored pencils!
Don’t forget to spread the word about the site, “like” us on FaceBook, etc.
May the area under your tree be filled with comic books and trade paperbacks!

The fun part about this comic is that the conversation happened pretty much verbatim when Andy told me about the idea. Well, maybe real-me had more faith in Andy than comic-me, but both versions of me were quite satisfied to hear the idea of Andy firing an assault rifle into the night while I interrogated a ball-gagged Santa Claus. (Um…don’t read too much into that.)
This concludes the 2010 offering for Awesome Adventures! Comics. Hope you enjoyed these early offerings. A fun exercise is to look at Andy’s art here and then go back and compare it with how he started on “The Discount Hitman.” Hopefully we can both continue to improve going into next year.
